  • Margins after *ivreghdfe - with partial option

    I am running an ivreghdfe regression with partial out. However, when I try to compute marginal effects and use them for marginsplot, I get the error:
    Code:
    Warning: cannot perform check for estimable functions.
    default predict option not appropriate with margins
    I found this stata blogpost https://www.stata.com/support/faqs/s...on-unsuitable/ where it says that It is possible to obtain a marginal effect after clogit by using the predict() option pu0 . I use ivreghdfe but it is not clear to me how to use it.

    I had found a nice advise by Richard Williams in this forum, I am affraid that I am not able to locate it back.

    I have a small syntalx error here, having not included the istruments (=) due too propertrary data. The error is the still the same on the margins without this small omission

    Looking in the forums, I came across other people who had the same issues with margins for other commands.The standard approach was to use the force option. In my case, after I tried it, it still didn't work.
    Any help is greatly appreciated!
